Cantigny Park in Wheaton opens its fourth Christmas at Cantigny season on Friday, Nov. 20, with superhero-themed nights, heated cabanas and s'mores kits.

The biggest addition is "A Marvelous Christmas," a series of five Sunday nights when the park's half-mile holiday light show will sync to music from superhero movies, according to Patch. Those dates are Nov. 22, Nov. 29, Dec. 6, Dec. 13 and Dec. 27. All other open nights will feature the classic Christmas light show and holiday music, according to Cantigny's website.

Two other new options give visitors a way to warm up between garden walks. Cocoa Cabanas, which come with fire tables, heated seats and food and beverage service, start at $125. A "Fireside S'Mores for Two" kit runs $35 and includes s'mores ingredients, candy canes, cocoa tokens and souvenir mugs.

The ice skating rink returns as well, with $7 admission and $3 skate rental. Visitors can also tour the McCormick House, which will feature a 20-foot Christmas tree and the Noel Lounge upstairs serving small plates, wine and craft cocktails. Guided Colonel's Tours led by McCormick House Director Will Buhlig are available for an additional fee.

The light show route winds through a half-mile of illuminated garden paths, displays set to music and Cantigny's 28-foot outdoor Christmas tree. Greenhouse-grown poinsettias will be for sale at the Visitors Center, and Le Jardin will offer hot beverages, seasonal drinks and snacks. A Noël Shop inside McCormick House will carry holiday gifts and Christmas at Cantigny merchandise.

Cantigny sells admission by the vehicle, not per person, according to the park's hours and fees page. Daytime parking is $6; after 3 p.m. during Christmas at Cantigny, parking rises to $10.

The park is cashless.

It will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, and on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25. On New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, only ice skating and Cocoa Cabanas will be available.

Christmas at Cantigny runs through Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027.
