Hundreds of vendors selling vintage goods, collectibles and Halloween-themed oddities will pack the DuPage County Fairgrounds on Oct. 31, when the Haunted Halloween Flea Market runs from 3 p.m. to midnight.

Zurko Promotions, the Wisconsin-based company behind the event, calls it the 13th annual edition on its event listing. The market fills the fairgrounds at 2015 Manchester Rd. in Wheaton with what the promoter describes as thousands of items for sale, from antiques to the deliberately creepy.

Figures from the comic book and horror world will also be on hand, according to Wheaton Patch. In past years, the event has featured live pumpkin carving, hayrides and hearses among its themed attractions. Organizers encourage shoppers to come in costume.

Admission is $10 per person. Children 12 and under get in free with an adult. Tickets are sold only at the gate. Parking is free.

For questions or vendor information, contact Zurko Promotions at 715-526-9769.
