The Wheaton Park District's summer concert series brings a Foreigner tribute act to the Memorial Park Bandshell on Friday, August 7, with gates opening at 5 p.m. and music running from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
Double Vision, a New Jersey-based group billed as "The Legitimate Foreigner Tribute," will headline the evening with a setlist of hits including "Juke Box Hero," "Cold as Ice," "Hot Blooded," and "I Want to Know What Love Is." The band's bassist, A.D. Zimmer, spent a decade touring with original Foreigner lead vocalist Lou Gramm, and lead singer Chandler Mogel is a session vocalist with international recording credits.
The group recently signed with Frontiers Music srl, an Italian rock label. The band calls the deal a rarity for a tribute act, according to its website.
Generation opens the show at 6 p.m., according to the Memorial Park event listing published Sunday, July 26.
Tickets cost $10 in advance or $12 at the gate. The Wheaton Park District directs concertgoers to memorialparkwheaton.com for purchases. The bandshell is at 225 Karlskoga Ave.
The August 7 show is part of the 2026 Concerts at Memorial Park season, which launched Friday, June 26, and features more than a dozen tribute bands plus the DuPage Symphony Orchestra and country act LANCO, according to Patch. The series, run by the Wheaton Park District under Executive Director Michael Benard, continues Saturday, August 8, with Motor City: The Motown Revue and Blooze Brothers, also from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
